Dealing with extremely low output levels whilst keeping noise to a minimum is the key. With the MP-P201, we deliver the most impeccable reproduction possible thanks to our efforts to optimise at absolutely every stage of the signal path.

The MP-P201 uses the same discrete gain stage modules developed for the MP-L201 but for this phono stage we have optimised them for a much lower noise level. This is essential to provide a high-end musical performance with even the lowest output cartridges available on the market today.

Gain selection is based on the output voltage of the cartridge in use, this is the optimal way to ensure a perfect balance between cartridge and phono stage. And changing the gain and load settings is achieved simply via remote control or the buttons on the front of the unit. Moving Magnet, Moving Coil and Mono cartridges are all supported.

Finally, the external power supply reduces the noise floor massively, laying the foundations for the pure black backgrounds you will experience when the needle touches the groove.
