AUDIODROM ONLINE MAGAZINE 2014
Review – Listopad MJ / Czech Republic
“The imaging within the soundstage is f-a-n-t-a-s-t-i-c and so is the purity and clarity of the
sound.
I wish every cable in the high end audio industry imaged like that…” – Audiodrom / Listopad
2014 MJ
“The entry level TARA Labs cables are great sounding wires and they hardly have any peers
among other audio brands. They image like devil and come with unprecedented clarity and
speed. I believe that many high end audio system owners would be surprised at how relatively
cheap cables can uplift the performance of expensive gear comparing to may high end
esoterica…” – Audiodrom online magazine 2014
“Three things are common to all the cables: clarity, coherence and imaging. When I swapped
my reference wires for the TL-2/14 and the TL-201 I was surprised at how clean the sound was.
The background noise, or better, the electronic hash in the background, was vacuum cleaned.
Such a canvas was perfect for the TARA Labs to start painting their sonic pictures. I liked the
exciting lower bass to midbass where instruments like electric bass guitar, kick drum or timpani
have their fundamentals – it was contoured and full of energy, something that is rare in this price
category. For example, the timpani gallop in Saint-SaensSamson and Dalilah (Eiji Oue and
Minnesota Orchestra, Exotic Dances from Opera, Reference Recordings, RR-71CD) was fast,
impactful and perfectly delineated to the extent I could hear individual strokes of the mallet on
drums skins.” – Audiodrom online magazine 2014
“The mids were tonally brilliant and seamlessly extended to pure and soaring highs. Triangles,
flutes or blazing horns had both romanticism and bite, both emotions and technical perfection.”-

“I was blown with the soundstage that was rendered by the cheap TARA Labs cables.
Realistically proportioned, with width and depth without any restrictions, totally fluid in its
expanding wholeness – simply breathtaking in this category of products.” – Audiodrom online
magazine 2014
“The whole thing is much more refined and detailed and there is slightly deeper bass thrown in.
The imaging within the soundstage is f-a-n-t-a-s-t-i-c, so is the purity and clarity of the sound. I
wish every cable in the high end audio industry would image like that. The presence of the
performance in your room is palpable, it just is. Being there a physical sense of every instrument
including its harmonic envelope, the The ISM The 2EX could be contenders to the best speaker
cables on the planet. I loved the articulation of singers that together with imaging was something
special – choirs are an excellent example. When I pressed PLAY with my favourite ‘cable-
testing’ track Gloucestershire Wassail in the player (Loreena MCKennitt, A Midwinter’s Night
Dream, Quinlan Road, B0012096-02) I had certain expectations but The ISM The 2EX
exceeded them.” – Audiodrom online magazine 2014
“The pinpoint imaging of voices behind the mikes was surgically precise. The cable mastered
relative distances between the singers and, as a bonus, it also depicted relative heights of the
singers. Usually I hear this track with the voices coming as if from the same horizontal level –
this time I could hear how tall the singer were.” – Audiodrom online magazine 2014
“By the clever design TARA Labs have managed to achieve the goal when timing is unified
across the frequency spectrum and the system provides crystal clear view of the soundstage
not only in spatial domain, but also in temporal domain.” – Audiodrom online magazine 2014
